World of
Warcraft Strategy Guide
What should a World
of Warcraft Strategy Guide tell you? Well I have chosen what
I think are the best subjects and explained them here for
you.
When you are just getting started with
World of Warcraft there is a good chance that you are
going to feel at least somewhat overwhelmed. The world is
enormous, and they aren't joking when they are talking
about an immersive and fascinating environment. Of course
one of the best reasons to play World of Warcraft is one
of the things that makes it the most intimidating to new
players; there are so many places to take your character
that it can be a little difficult to tell if you are
doing it right or if you are seeing everything that you
should be seeing. This is where a good a World of
Warcraft strategy guide can come in. Even a veteran World
of Warcraft player can learn a lot from the right World
of Warcraft strategy guide so take some time and look at
the areas that a good guide will address.

Game Overview
When you play World of Warcraft, you are getting introduced to
the World of Azeroth. There are two factions fighting for
dominance in this world, the Horde and the Alliance, and in
recently, they have been putting more and more of their efforts
into fighting the Burning Legion and the traitorous Lich King.
This is the very core of the information that you need to know,
but a good guide will tell you a little more about each faction
and the world that you are going to be questing in.
Character Creation
Each faction has five playable races, making for ten different
races to choose from. On the Alliance side, there are the
Humans, the Gnomes, the Dwarves, the Night Elves and the
Draenei, while the Horde contains the Orcs, the Trolls, the
Undead, the Tauren and the Blood Elves. Each race has different
classes to choose from, and your choice of class will determine
your play style and the specialties that you can take on.
Class Specialties
How does a Warlock's play style differ from that of a Warrior?
What are the main roles that a Paladin can fill in a party
situation? World of Warcraft allows for a lot of variation in
the way that the different classes are played; for instance, a
Rogue can excel at quick, silent, targeted kills or in your
face damage dealing. A Paladin can be a tank who makes sure
that the enemies stay away from the healer or she might be the
party healer. There are a lot of different ways to play your
character and your World of Warcraft strategy guide will help
you figure out how you want to play.

Professions
With your professions, you will be able to create items that
help you quest and that can be sold for money to other players
via the Auction House. A good World of Warcraft strategy guide
will at least guide you through the professions and help you
make sure that you know which one is going to suit you. Some
classes are ideally suited for some professions, while other
professions are next to useless for them.
Questing
In World of Warcraft, you will gain experience and level up
through the completion of quests. At the beginning, the quests
are laid out for you in your race's starting area, but after
that it will be very much up to you where you choose to go to
quest. Azeroth is quite large, and finding an area that you can
safely level in can be a little difficult. With a World of
Warcraft strategy guide, you'll be able to figure out whether
the zone that you are in is appropriate to your level and
whether it is suited to your talents.
Player Vs. Player
World of Warcraft has a little bit of something for everyone
and when you are tired of pitting your wits and your skills
against enemies that have a response that is usually easily
anticipated, you may find that you want to see what another
player has to offer! In Player versus Player combat, your
character will end up in a battle ground that is limited to
players in the same ten level bracket. PvP combat, as it is
called, tends to be fast-paced and frenetic. It requires a lot
more concentration and in many cases, you'll want to have
better gear for PvP combat than you need for Player versus
Environment play. PvP is not for everyone, but for someone with
good reflexes and a good command of their class can win some
great rewards here.
Dungeons
There are some things in World of Warcraft that you simply
cannot handle on your own. These areas are called dungeons and
when you go in, you are going to be confronted by elite mobs
and bosses that are much tougher than the average monster that
you face. To defeat them, you are going to need other players
to help you and this is why people form groups. While the
enemies that you kill in dungeons do not respawn behind you,
they are tough and unless you are massively past the level that
they are, you do not stand a chance on your own. Forming a
group, learning to work with it and figuring out how to work
together is another fun part of World of Warcraft, but it might
take some information before you can comfortably do this.
There is a lot going on in World of Warcraft and at nearly any
time of day or night, you can log on to your server and find
something going on. Whether you want to learn something new or
you are just interested in getting a character to the endgame,
or you are simply brand new and want a compass, find a good
World of Warcraft strategy guide that can help you get
started.
