When you disenchant an item, you are reducing it to its core elements. While you can only disenchant items that are green, blue or purple, you will find that this can be a great way to make money from this profession. The resulting components can be used by several professions and it can be quite lucrative when you sell it.

If you are thinking about working on your own enchanting, simply be patient. It can very much be something that takes you quite a while to get through and you will find that by simply taking it slowly and easily, you will be able to level the profession without driving yourself mad. The key is to get the materials that you need to enchant and to disenchant to increase your skill. One way to give your services a workout is to get on the Trade channel in your server and to advertise your goods. When you push the small “infinity” symbol in your Enchanting window, you can give people a link to precisely what you can do.

Remember that you can also use enchanting to create the materials that other professions need. As an Enchanter, you will be able to do things like enhance leathers and ores, and you will also be able to create oils of various types. Then you can take these materials and throw them up on the Auction House. Not only are you going to be in a place where you can increase your Enchanting skill, you are going to find that you can make yourself some gold to further your ability in the profession as well. To make sure that you are setting a fair price for the goods that you put up, consider getting the addon known as Auctioneer; this addon is great for figuring out what the average price of an item is on your server and how much you should charge for it.

Enchanting is a fun way to make money in World of Warcraft and with a little bit of dedication, you can make it pay out. Just remember to take it slow and not to get aggravated as you are grinding to the next level.
