WoW Hunter
Guide
Whether you are
brand new to World of Warcraft or you are simply looking
for new class to try, you'll find that rolling up a Hunter
is definitely worth your consideration. There are factors
in the Hunter class that make the experience different
from any other class in the game, and before you get
started, there are a few things that you should know and I
have put them together in my WoW Hunter Guide.
Hunters are the marksmen in the game and though they can be
fairly vulnerable in close quarters, they excel when it comes
to dealing vast amounts of damage from a long range. With this
in mind, they are only allowed to wear leather or cloth armor
until they hit level forty, at which point, they can train to
use mail. When it comes to weapons, they can use everything
except wands, maces and two handed maces, and while they cannot
equip shields, they are also seldom in places where shields
would do much anyway!
One of the primary appeals of the Hunter class is the ability
to acquire a pet. A Hunter can seek out animals and train them,
and when a pet has been trained, it can be summoned to aid a
Hunter on his or her travels through the game. Pets may simply
enter combat with you and a lot of damage, or you may choose to
have your pet draw offensive fire towards itself as you
continue to fire at the target from the rear. You can also use
traps to immobilize an enemy while you kill them.

When you are interesting in leveling your character and playing
the game on your own, you will find that Hunter is a great
choice. Your pet will improve your survivability and it can
make grinding a lot quicker. While the leather armor can feel
fairly fragile, especially if you have played a plate wearing
class at some point, just remember that you can upgrade to mail
at level forty. To facilitate the kind of armor that you can
get, you may want to take Skinning and Leatherworking as
professions; not only can they help you when it comes to
acquiring good armor, remember that it can also help you earn
money on the Auction House.
If you are interested in playing your Hunter in group
situations, you will find that your primary role is going to be
that of a damage dealer and as someone who can manage crowd
control. With your pet acting as a built in tank, you will find
that you can help keep enemies away from your group's healers
as you progress through an instance.
When you are thinking about playing a Hunter, there are
definitely a few tips to keep in mind.
Keep your pet happy by feeding it regularly; unless you do, it
can rebel at the worst times.
Find pets that suit your play style. Pets can be tanks or
damaged dealers, depending on which ones you choose.
Learn to use your traps effectively. This is helpful in almost
every situation.
I hope you have found my WoW Hunter Guide
to be useful and have learnt something from
it.
