WoW Leveling
Guide
Leveling up is very much
similar for all types of characters, so I have tried to
make this guide generic so anyone regardless of race and
class will be able to use the tips here in my
WoWLeveling
Guide. To level up you need to gain experience, which you
get by killing mobs and completing quests.
First off there is your experience bar down the bottom above
your spells and abilities bar. When it coloured in purple
(which it will be most of the time) you get normal amount of
experience that is set in the game. The best and most
unused way to get a boost in experience gained is by resting
frequently after going to a town. If you rest, your
experience bar will turn blue. This will give double the
amount of experience you get from any monsters you
kill.
Don’t waste time killing monsters needlessly that aren’t to do
with questing. The amount of exp you earn compared to
questing isn’t much so it is more worthwhile doing that
instead.

Quests
Most quests are available in main cities and small town
areas. People who give them will have an exclamation mark
above their head. Normally there will be a few available
at any one time, it is much better to collect them all in one
go rather than doing one at a time. Reason for this is,
it will save a lot of time running back and forth to towns to
hand them in and get another.
Another thing to consider is, if all your current quests you
find are too hard for your current level, you can try getting
them at a neighbouring town. You may find that they are
easier and once you have done them you have gained a
couple of levels. The quests you then had before will be
much easier and have streamlined the levelling
process!
People who use these type of tactics here in my WoW Leveling
Guide are known as powerlevellers. They find the quickest
way to gain exp that most people don’t bother with, but save
themselves hours of time and can spend more time on things they
enjoy more once they hit their target levels.
Solo vs
Grouping
There is always big debate when it comes to this, “What is the
best way to do quests, on my own or with some other people?”
personally when I have a friend who is wanting to level as well
we will always do this together as it is much easier to do
quests as the effort is halved to kill everything. You
may not get as much exp from the monsters, but you still get
max exp from completing the quest. It is always much less
tedious when you have someone to talk to as
well.
If you don’t know anyone who is playing World of Warcraft
currently, not a problem. You can announce to everyone in
your area by typing “/1 Anyone want to group for quest xxxxxxx”
Normally you should find someone easily because it makes other
peoples lives easier as well. This can also help
sometimes for late on in the game when you forge alliances with
people and need more people for large instances and
raids.
I hope you have found my WoW Leveling Guide useful and put some
of my tips into action.
