WoW Paladin Guide
Welcome to my WoW
Paladin Guide which will introduce you to what this
character class is capable of, their strengths, weaknesses
and abilities.
The
paladin is the main hybrid character in the game, mixing
both melee fighting and a form of magery being able to cast
certain spells to aid their melee
capabilities.
They are known for being relatively hard to kill because
of their defensive capabilities and how quickly they can
heal themselves with spells like Holy Light. As a constant shield
they can also have an Aura protecting them at all
times.
Of
course though, in the interest of balance to the game, they
do have a few weaknesses that can be
exploited.
The main one being their limit with ranged
attacks. So
if there are a group of monsters it is very difficult to
separate them because the paladin will need to go within
the range of all the monsters to get their
attention.
This can become difficult to quest on your own
sometimes.

The other main disadvantage is their
dependency on mana. This is normally cured
by having equipment which helps to increase mana levels
allowing players to carry on for much longer periods and
then recharging when they get a break. Most paladins also
carry around powerful mana potions which also help them
if they are in the heat of battle.
Now we
can move on to the more interesting strengths of being a
paladin in World of Warcraft! They are very well sought
after in group events because of their ability to cast
blessings on entire parties of people and have a very high
rate of healing. This can sometimes be a
struggle when you’re a paladin to keep everyone in top shape
but it quickly becomes second nature when you get used to
it.
As well as their healing, if they don’t
quite manage to heal people in time, they can save the
group from restarting and resurrect people after
battle. So
overall, if you’re a paladin and other players are
looking for someone to do a raid or an instance with, you
shouldn’t have too many problems being allowed to go
along and take some of the prize.
One of the more tedious parts of the game
is travelling around and walking for sometimes, quite
long distances! However as a paladin,
when you reach level 30 you can summon your own
warhorse.
All you have to pay for is to learn the spell needed and
you can summon it whenever you need to. Then at level 60 you
can summon a better, faster creature to run around
on. Other
character classes have to spend quite a bit of gold to be
able to purchase a mount. So for the newbie
player, this is a great choice of character.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my WoW
Paladin Guide and I hope you enjoy creating a new
character and discovering how much more there also is to
it. Good
luck!
