WoW PVP
Guide
While questing is
one of the main activities is World of Warcraft, you'll
find that it can get a little boring just killing enemies
that do the same predictable thing over and over again.
This is why the battlegrounds were created and why so many
players love engaging in PvP conflict! PvP refers to
player versus player and this is where you are going to be
able to face off against opponents from the other
factions. The PvP battlegrounds are divided up by levels,
with all characters from level 10 to 19 fighting in one
battle ground, all characters from 20 to 29 in another and
so on. When you are ready for play that is more
fast-paced, competitive and aggressive, this is something
that you need to check out!

From this very basic, very simple premise,
where members of the Horde and the Alliance head into the
designated areas to do battle, you'll find that you are
entering a world that is hotly contested and where
knowing when to do the right thing can save the day.
Anyone can go into a battleground if they are of the
appropriate level, but doing well in it and winning some
of the impressive rewards that you can have from coming
out on top is another thing entirely! Check out some of
the WoW PvP guide tips below to get you started
WoW PvP Guide Tip 1: Wait until you are of an appropriate
level
There is a vast different between a character that is level 14
and a character that is level 19. Most of the people who play
in the battlegrounds are going to be at the top end of the
level bracket; for instance, in Warsong Gulch, which hosts
characters between the levels of 10 and 19, most players are
going to be level 19. By waiting until you are the top of your
level bracket, you can ensure that you do not get picked on as
easy prey.
WoW PvP Guide Tip 2: The better your gear, the better your
chances for success.
“Twinkingâ€
is the process of getting gear that is
specifically meant to improve your chances for
success. You may choose to have higher level friends run you
through areas that you can't handle for good gear or you might
want to purchase it off the auction house. In either case, you
are getting yourself geared up to the utmost of your ability
and it is necessary in PvP combat. Some twink gear will reduce
movement affecting statuses while others will shield you; they
are invaluable in a PvP setting.
WoW PvP Guide Tip 3: Walk Backwards
One great battleground trick is that your enemies are going to
love running in circles around you, especially if you are
caster. This makes it hard to target them, and if they are a
Rogue, they have plenty of reasons to get behind you. Walking
backwards lets you keep them in sight and to keep your spells
up.
