WoW Quest Guide
This WoW Quest guide
is just an all rounder on what quests are for and the best
way to tackle them. Completing quests is the
best way to earn yourself experience, gold, find rare
items and you can learn trade skills on your way
around. You
will be doing these for the majority of your time playing
World of Warcraft, especially in the early stages of
leveling your character anyway.
To view quests you have lined up and ready
to go will be listed in your quest log. Press L on your
keyboard to bring this up. They will be
highlighted in different colours, this is in reference as
to how hard the quest will be and therefore how much XP
you earn from completing it. Obviously, the harder
the quest, the more you earn.
Gray – You’ve left it too long and it’s
far too easy. Wont gain anything from it
Green – Very easy, try to do them before they get to this
color
Yellow – Normal difficulty, will gain a moderate amount of
XP
Orange – Hard, you will gain the best amount of XP for the time
you put in
Red – Very hard, probably not worth trying.

To start a quest, you need to find an NPC
(non player character) who has a yellow exclamation mark
above their head. Interact with them and they will give
you a quest. Once you have completed the quest and go
back to them, it will change to a yellow question
mark.
The quickest way to do quests is to gather
as many as you can in one go from a specific town/area
and do them all before returning. This saves so much time
running back and forth, literally it will save you
hours. Just
remember, each time you go back, sell the items you wont
be using as you’ll need as much valuable bag space as
possible.
When you are gathering quests to do
though, you can only take on 25 at a time. So don’t take on a load
then go to another area to take on more. You will have to end up
abandoning some quests and going back to doing them at a
later date.
A good way to liven up your questing if
you get bored at any point, is to advertise to your area
in the chat menu that you would like to go questing and
if anyone wants to pair up. It makes questing much
more interesting, you do share the XP, but it’s done much
more quickly and you can have someone there to chat
to.
Through my own experience of having many
characters that I’ve leveled up, a lot of people will
team up with lower level people, because they are nor
interested in the gold but want a certain item and just
bring people along to help. This is great if you’re
the lower level character as it increases the rate which
you gain XP a lot!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my WoW Quest Guide
and wish you the best of luck!
